What is natural rubber?

A natural material, natural rubber is extracted from latex producing trees such as rubber trees. When the trunk is cut, the tree will then secrete the sap, known as latex, which it uses as a protective layer. The latex is therefore harvested at that time by placing a container underneath the notch. The collected latex is then ready to be made into rubber...

What are its qualities?

Superior quality natural rubber has good thermal properties and optimal grip. Durable and flexible, rubber provides comfort and is completely waterproof! Rubber is also combined with neoprene to give even better thermal insulation.

How should I look after my product?

Washing: After use, wash your boots or clogs with a wet sponge, and do not hesitate to add soap if necessary.

Drying: Let your boots dry in the air standing upright. Do not store the product near a heat source (heating, fireplace, conservatory, etc) or in direct sunlight, which could affect the qualities and colour of the rubber.

The Blackfox tip: To protect and maintain the properties of the rubber, apply a special silicone spray every three months.

PVC can be rigid or flexible, it is non-slip and makes it possible to produce an almost infinite range of colours and shapes. Resistant to water, abrasion and UV, it does not break, is easy to clean and has a long life. It thus produces a creative product that is good value for money.
